WHAT IS BOWL FOR KIDS’ SAKE?  This is our agency’s most important fundraising event of the year.  It is not about bowling.  It’s not about bowling skill levels.  First and foremost, it is about raising money to support the one-to-one mentoring programs.  It costs $1,000 to take a child and volunteer through the enrollment and matching process, and provide match support for the first year.
HAVE FUN TO BENEFIT kids.  Bowl For Kids’ Sake is an easy and fun way to make a difference, and everyone can get involved as bowler, team captain, or a sponsor.  It’s a party with a team of friends, family, neighbors or colleagues.  Remember it’s not your skill or your score that counts – it’s your effort!  If you care about kids and can spare a little time for fun, then Bowl for Kids’ Sake is right up your alley!

WE ARE LOOKING FOR TEAM CAPTAINS, BOWLERS, & SPONSORS!

Team Captains will recruit 5 other people to bowl with you.  Be the contact person and motivator for the team.  Decide what time you want to bowl and register your team online or with the Big Brothers Big Sisters office.  As a Team Captain you will receive a free Bowl For Kids’ Sake T-shirt.
Bowlers will receive one free game of bowling, shoes, pizza, soda and a fabulous time.  You will collect money and pledges from sponsors.  Minimum to bowl is $50 in donations, but we are encouraging every bowler to raise at least $100.  If you raise $100 you will win a Bowl For Kids’ Sake T-shirt.  Be prepared to have fun while supporting the KIDS!  There are prizes for the top 3 money raisers, too!
Sponsorships are a vital part of our fundraising for Bowl For Kids’ Sake.  Without the support of area businesses and people in our community, we would not be able to make a difference in the lives of children in our communities.  Various sponsorship levels are available.  Please call your local Big Brothers Big Sisters office for more information on sponsorships.
