August 2nd - November 9th - 100 MENTORS IN 100
DAYS CAMPAIGN - Our annual recruitment campaign
begins on August 2 and ends November 9th. All our
staff will be busy recruiting volunteers to be matched
with children who are enrolled in our organization and
want to have a one-to-one mentor all their own! If
you want more information about volunteering, please
check out our volunteer page or call our office at
217-243-3821. One of our staff will be happy to
tell you all about our youth mentoring program!

August 24th - JACKSONVILLE COMMUNITY ACTION TEAM
MEETING - Our monthly CAT meeting will be held
Tuesday, August 24th noon at the BBBS office (220 East
Morgan Street, 217-243-3821).
September 11, 2010 - ADAMS COUNTY ANNUAL BBBS
PICNIC
- Held at Wavering Park. Lots of good
old-fashioned games and plenty of food for anyone
currently or previously involved in anyway with Big
Brothers Big Sisters. Maybe you are (or were) a
Big, Little, employee, board member or community action
team member, Bowl For Kids' Sake volunteer, donated to
our organization, or just been a great friend!
We want you to
come to our picnic! Don't be shy!

September 18, 2010 - GOLF FOR KIDS' SAKE
 -
Join Big Brothers Big Sisters of Brown & Schuyler
Counties for their annual golf fundraiser to help the
children in our communities. Register your team of
4 golfers now. Format is 4-person scramble.
Hole sponsorships available for $100; Major sponsorship
available for $500; and Platinum sponsorships available
for $750. Registration begins at 8:00am and tee
off is 9:00 am (yummy donuts served). Cost is $75
per golfer ($300 per team) with lunch included following
the golf. Lots of hole and door prizes.

October 3, 2010 - MORGAN, BROWN, SCHUYLER ANNUAL
BBBS PICNIC
- This annual picnic will be held in the Senior Center
at Jacksonville's Community Park. The 
begins at 1:00 pm and ends at 4:00 pm. Live music
by the Peter Sellers Band, great food, games, and plenty
of excitement. If you have ever been involved with
our organization, then WE WANT YOU TO COME! This
means our bigs, littles, employees, board members,
community action team members, organization volunteers,
Bowl For Kids' Sake volunteers, donors, and just
wonderful friends and families of Big Brothers Big
